The functional pottery, which I am now making, is done in a mid-range, cone 2 clay, made from a mixture of red clays and glazed with a white glaze which is decorated with lively colors and patterns.

I like to tile tables so people can see the effect of a grouping of tiles, either as a table, or as a wall area (behind a stove, or sink, for example, or a countertop area). This also gives me a larger area to decorate, and I love to see the finished, grouted work!
